Bridal Style with Lucie Fink
With wedding season around the corner, we caught up with bride-to-be Lucie Fink. She shares with us plans for her wedding, and all of the events in between. Plus, what to wear for each event leading up to the big day.
How did you and your fiancé meet?
Michael and I met in high school! He was 1 year ahead of me, and he spotted me in the library one day. We became instant best friends who would stay up every single night chatting on the phone. Michael liked me immediately and asked me out a few times, but it took me about 2 years of being close friends with him before I started to fall in love! We began dating towards the end of his senior year (my junior year), and then we did 5 years of long distance as we went to different colleges. Today we live together in Manhattan and our wedding is in September!
Where are you getting married?
We originally thought we wanted to get married at one of our houses, but then we found an incredible location that we just couldn't pass up. We’re keeping the exact venue private, but I'll give you a hint: it's an art museum! The space is pretty raw so we have a blank canvas to work with.
Which bridal event are you most excited for?
I'm most excited for the big day, of course!! I can't wait to walk down the aisle, say I DO, and to be officially married to the love of my life!
Your #1 tip for the bride-to-be?
My #1 tip for any bride-to-be is to try not getting majorly stressed throughout the planning process. There are going to be a lot of things thrown your way (and a ton of opinions), and you just have to remember that the whole purpose of this planning is TO CELEBRATE YOUR LOVE! Just relax and try to enjoy the ride!
What she's wearing:
Addison Combo Jumpsuit – I love the casual jump suit look!
Katarina Top + Carlo Short set and Adara Dress – the clementines are such a cute and tropical print, so it's perfect for a beach getaway. Plus, I love that the same print comes in two different styles, so my twin sister and I can match!
Tampa Dress – sleek and chic for the night before the big day!
Kristie Dress – it's perfect for a honeymoon dinner in the tropics.
