What are your must-haves for summer dressing?

My classic must-haves are a denim mini skirt, leather sandals, white sneakers, an easy cotton dress and a silk slip dress for the evening. You can make any kind of look with these items.

What’s your favorite look from the shoot?

My absolute favorite look is the navy silk ruched dress from Parker Black. It’s the simplest dress yet most head turning look. I would wear this with a crisp white sneaker and a denim oversized jacket during the day then throw on a barely-there heeled sandal and slick my hair back for the nighttime.

Which trends are you loving for the season?

While I don’t have much color in my wardrobe, my favorite trends always involve color and prints. Whether it’s a monochromatic look, color-blocking or mixing patterns, these trends always stand out on top. Just don’t mix them all into one look.

Any tips for summer accessorizing?

Summer accessories are all about natural materials textures and colors. Wooden necklaces and bangles, straw hats and bags or ankle wrapped sandals with rope details – they all give off casual and warm weather vibes. Hair barrettes are also back in a big way. Make your own by wrapping your favorite fabric around the barrette.

What’s the most important style to pack for a weekend getaway?

The absolute most important style to pack on a getaway is a simple cotton dress like the orange and pink tie-dye dress from the collection. It’s perfect with white sneakers and a straw hat for day and a heeled sandal for night.

Any tips for polished wear-to-work dressing in warm weather?

In warm weather, the best way to stay cool while looking cool is to wear lightweight fabrics and bare some skin. I would pair a structured high-waisted short with a tank and a lightweight linen blazer. Or conversely, wear a wide leg pant with a sleeveless blouse.

Pro Tip: Make sure that your fabrics are lightweight and you’re baring some skin to allow for air flow.

What are your tips for adapting a beauty routine when the weather gets hot?

For a lot of people, skin and hair texture changes with the weather. Luckily dewy, glowy skin and a natural wave are in right now. When the weather gets hot, embrace it. Don't fight it.

5 things that are always in your travel bag?

Jack Black Lip Balm, Supergoop! Sunscreen, Dr. Hauschka Moisturizer, Tarte Better Bod Bronze + Contour and a Mason Pearson brush.

What’s the beauty vibe you were going for to complement the summer collection?

Sun-kissed vacation skin with a natural looking wave. I loved using Dior's Backstage Glow Palette—it's honestly one small palette you can do a full look with. I also used Nars Portofino multiple stick on the cheeks and lips for a very realistic healthy summer rouge.
